His father, Rishi Kapoor, was the superstar of the 1970s. And now Ranbir Kapoor will be portraying a similar character in a commercial he has shot for. The actor was recently seen at Chandigarh in the wee hours of morning, 5:30 AM to be precise, to shoot for a new commercial in which he will be donning the 70s look.

According to the FilmiTadka sources, the commercial required a specific setting and atmosphere for which the unit shot at 3 different places in Chandigarh. The first venue was an old garage in sector 56 where shooting started very early in the morning. Later they shot at a road on the outskirts of city and still later near a dam 30 Kilometers away from Chandigarh.

The actor thoroughly enjoyed the scenic beauty of Chandigarh and also wanted to gorge on authentic Punjabi food. However, he could not do so due to shortage of time. Apparently, the last time he had visited Punjab for the promotions of Raajneeti, Ranbir had astonished everyone with his capacity to gobble up non vegetarian food.
